Diwali, often referred to as the Festival of Lights, is one of India’s most cherished festivals. This vibrant celebration symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and the victory of good over evil, commemorating the return of Lord Rama to his kingdom after vanquishing the demon king Ravana. Diwali is characterized by the illumination of homes with diyas (lamps), stunning decorations, and the sharing of sweets, embodying joy and togetherness among friends and family.
At NetWeb, we embraced the spirit of Diwali with two exciting events: an engaging online gathering on October 24th and a lively offline celebration on October 25th. These festivities were filled with joy and camaraderie, uniting everyone in a shared celebration.
On October 24th, team members from our Hyderabad and Pune offices joined the online Diwali meet, enhancing the festivities with their participation in Rangoli-making, donning traditional attire, and adorning their offices. The quiz session held that day was particularly popular, as participants enthusiastically guessed the names of bands, sports, countries, and famous personalities.
The in-person celebration on October 25th featured a thrilling Housie game that sparked lively interactions among colleagues, complemented by stunning decorations that captured the essence of Diwali. A standout moment was the colorful Rangoli-making session, where participants showcased their creativity by crafting intricate designs, a beautiful reflection of the festival’s spirit.
Throughout both events, we captured lasting memories through photos with friends and colleagues. The celebrations culminated in a delightful feast, featuring delicious food that brought everyone together in laughter and conversation.
